Fixodida Zx is an environmentally friendly alternative insect repellent that does not cause any harm to nature, animals or humans. The active ingredient, fulvic acid, boosts the animal’s own defense mechanism, effectively prohibiting the tick from any interest in attacking the pet. The product is working “from the inside,” so the pet can swim in water and be involved in any of its normal activities without loosing its defense against ticks. Fixodida is even safe around small children, so they can feel free to hug their pet without any risk of being exposed to toxins or chemicals that could be potentially harmful.

Fixodida Zx is a dry feed additive for pets made from natural ingredients. The active ingredient is Fulvic Acid. The product has been developed after many years of research by Dr William R. Jackson PhD., in the USA. Fixodida Zx is formulated with only top quality ingredients that meet and/or surpass industry standards.

In Sweden, Fixodida zx™ was launched in 2007. The interest from caring pet owners for a natural and non-toxic tick repellent was huge and Fixodida quickly became the leading all-natural tick repellent for ticks.

Fulvic Acid – For Life

Fulvic acid is a substance essential for all life and is part of the humic structure in rich composting soil. Fulvic acid is a derivative of microbial degradation of humic substances and can be found in special peat such as reed-sedge peat. The highest quality of fulvic acid requires more than 10,000 years of development to produce the best quality of acid content.

There are many scientific studies published regarding the positive effects of fulvic acid. The most well known book on the subject called Humic, Fulvic and Microbial Balance, is written by William R. Jackson PhD.

Fixodida Zx is simple to give to your pet. Choose between powder or flavored tablets. The powder is easily sprinkled over or mixed in the pet food. The tablets can be given with food or as a daily snack. If you have several pets, the tablets may be preferable, as it’s easier to monitor the daily dosage for each pet.

Instructions for use (Recommended dosage)

Dogs under 10 kg 2 pinches (2 ml) per day.
Dogs över 10 kg 4 pinches (4 ml) per day.
Cats 1-2 pinches (1-2 ml) per day. The pinch measure is included in the packet. The dosage can, if necessary, be doubled for enhanced protection.

There are no known side-effects, although some individuals may react with diarrhoea. This is easy to remedy by reducing the dose and then increasing it gradually.
The powder can be shaken onto or mixed into food.

Storage
Dry at room temperature. Avoid direct sunlight and keep away from children.

How to use the product

Result in a week
Normally, Fixodida Zx will take effect within a week from when the pet starts on the daily-recommended intake (see product label).

Choose between powder or tablets
Fixodida Zx is simple to give to your pet. Choose between powder or a flavored tablet. The powder is easily sprinkled over or mixed in the pet food. The tablets can be given with food or as a healthy snack. If you have several pets, the tablets may be preferable, as it’s easier to control the daily dosage for each pet with a tablet.

Higher dosage gives a better protection
Pets are individuals with different needs, and occasionally the dosage may have to be increased for a better protection. If you are not pleased with the tick defense after 10 days on the recommended intake, double the dosage for the next 10 days. Once a satisfactory result is achieved, you should be able to return to the recommended intake with maintained level of protection.

Check for ticks
Fixodida Zx supports a good defense against ticks. From time to time, single ticks may still succeed. This is to be expected, especially if the pet has a long or thick coat, is stressed or visits tick infested territories. Therefore, it is recommended to always check your pet for ticks after each visit in territories with ticks.

  • Can Fixodida be given to puppies?

    Yes, once they stop drinking milk from the mother. Normally, the puppy is then 8-10 weeks old.

  • Can Fixodida be given to pregnant animals?

    Yes, even during the period when they are nursing their puppies.

  • I have a sensitive pet. Can I still give them Fixodida?

    If you have a pet with a sensitive stomach, we recommend starting on a lower dose for a few days. Thereafter, increase the dosage gradually to the recommended intake! If you are uncertain, please check with your veterinarian!
